Free Plan Limits
There are limits to the Free Plan:
Up to four "active" boards at any time
One team workspace
Boards are visible to anyone with the link
Participants must signup and join the team to edit a board (no guests)

Four Active Boards
Accounts on the Free Plan will have up to four "Active" boards at any one time.
You can create unlimited boards, but only the four most recent boards will be “Active” - meaning only these boards are editable. Non-active boards can still be opened but in a view-only state.
The Free Plan has unlimited board storage, so you can keep all the boards you have ever created or will create, but boards will automatically become read-only if they are not one of the four most recent boards.
You can clone both active and non-active boards to reuse them. Boards can also be deleted.
One Team Workspace: "All Boards"
Teams on the Free plan get one shared space to store boards. This is the "All Boards" view. All team members in the Account will be able to view the boards created here.
Upgrade to get unlimited private workspaces and folders to organize your boards.
Account Privacy & Security
Under the Free Plan, your boards are open to anyone with the board link. Anyone who visits your board URL can view and join the board to edit. When they join the board, they will also automatically join the team space, becoming a team member. This gives them access to all the boards in your space.
All team members of a Free Plan account can access all boards.
The board links use randomly generated IDs, they are not indexable or available to search engines, and they are not published publicly anywhere.
Upgrading to a paid plan secures your boards. You get further security and permissions options for your boards and team space.

Free plans get all standard templates published by the Metro Retro team.
Upgrade to a paid plan to unlock the ability to save custom templates and share them with your team.
Basic Meeting Host Controls
Accounts on the Free Plan get the core Meeting Host features that help you run great meetings & workshops, including Metro Retro’s unique Private Writing feature, as well as Design/Meeting Mode, locking the board layout to participants, and Host/Participant permissions.
