⏰How to set the timer

Metro Retro has a built in meeting timer to help you manage your sessions. Your board must be in Meeting Mode to access the timer.

Switching Modes

Only a host can switch the meeting mode, either by selecting 'Start Meeting' at the top of the board UI or by using the mode switcher in the toolbar:

Turning on the Timer

When in Meeting Mode, click "Meeting in Progress" at the top of the board to access the timer in the facilitator controls.

Set your time and start the timer. It will countdown from your set time. Everyone on the board can see the timer.

Using the Timer Gadget

In some instances you might just need a quick, contextually positioned timer for a specific activity in your meeting. Use our timer gadget for this, it's a great way to drop a configurable timer on to your board.

You need to be in Design Mode to access the gadgets tools.

Open the gadgets drawer

Add the timer gadget to your board and configure to your needs.
